The commute was heavy most of the way. Siu-Fai got into Berkeley
about the time we were getting onto 580W from 238. The show had already
started when we arrived. Siu-Fai and Jimmy were not in the seats!
They showed up after the next song. It turned out they had spent
more time parking than it took us to make it into Berkeley (of course,
parking was easier for us since we still have Randy's Handicapped Permit).
The Campbell Brothers with Katie Jackson and The Mighty Clouds of
Joy are Gospel Groups. We had seen The Campbell Brothers before at
The Great American Music Hall (with my brother that time too). He
loved it so much the last time that he made sure he got tickets for this
one (and brought his roomie along!).
My favorite quote of the night is "Church is not in the building,
it's in your heart." Of course, I might be more partial to that statement
since I haven't been to church in years.

After the show, we stopped off at Fat Slice on Telegraph for pizza.
The slices were so fat that 2 slices would have been more than a 12" pizza
(thought the 12" pizza costs three times more)! It was better than
Blondie's. Jimmy did not want any because he forgot his wallet and
would not let anyone pay for him. He says his religion forbids it.
He's a Jehovah's Witness, so he cannot take gifts of any sort.
