Aeros Dance Project is a dance troupe made up of Romanian Gymnasts
(including five world champions). The show features amazing gymnastic
feats choregraphed into modern dance routines layered over a persistent
percussive background beat. The combination had me on the edge of
my seat all night. If the little movie critic dude in SF Chronicle
is used to rate this show, he'd be jumping off his chair in excitement!
Here's a link to a review of the show by Octavio Roca at the San

After the show, we went to our favorite Berkeley pho place. Viet
Nam Village is run by a very friendly Chinese couple. It is in Durant
Court with a host of other mostly Asian restaurants. It was chilly
outside so the hot tea was a welcome start. Randy found out that
he needed little windshield wipers to wipe the steam off his eyeglasses.
Tim came in for takeout when we were waiting for our food.
Tim's in Hankido. Both Taekwondo and Hankido are under the same program
at UC Berkeley (UC Martial Arts). He's a law student and will be
taking the LSAT in February, so he won't be working out till then.
He mentioned that he will have no life until after the LSAT. Ahhhh,
the tribulations of student life!
Tim left soon after my pho arrived. And very shortly afterwards,
the pho disappeared into my stomache. Yumm!!
