Niche of Grand Precious Garret (No.4, A.D.1174-1252)
The niche is 780 cm high, 370 cm wide and 250 cm deep. Under a black bamboo grove three statues sit with their legs crossed, practising Buddhism. The three Chinese characters shown were written by Du Xiaoyan, deputy minister of the Ministry of War in Song Dynasty of China. |
